Hearing-impaired Comedienne, Inspiring and Entertaining Speaker and author.
Kathy Buckley is a gifted comedienne, award-winning actress, accomplished author and renowned inspirational speaker - who is a force like no other. Billed as 'America's First Hearing Impaired Comedienne', Kathy is also a five-time American Comedy Award Nominee as Best Stand-Up Female Comedienne. As an actress, she is known for her guest starring roles on shows such as Touched by an Angel, and for her critically acclaimed one woman Off-Broadway show, Don't Buck with Me/Now Hear This!. As a motivational speaker, she inspires hundreds of thousands of people around the world, sharing her story of overcoming some of the most difficult obstacles one can imagine in life - and how she met those challenges with dignity, courage, and laughter.
Kathy's book If You Could Hear What I See will have you laughing and crying as you experience the amazing story of her life. She has received thousands of letters and emails of thanks and praise, regarding both her book and her original PBS special, No Labels, No Limits! She was awarded the CINE Golden Eagle Award as the writer and executive producer of the special, and the Media Access Award for Outstanding Television Special. Her highly acclaimed autobiographical theater play, Now Hear This! had its Off-Broadway premiere at New York's Lamb's Theater - and not only brought the comic actress a legion of faithful new fans, but a wealth of critical praise from New York media.
In record time, she became one of the most popular comediennes in the country with material based on, among others things, her hearing loss. That impairment, however, is only one of the many hurdles Kathy has encountered in her life. Her poor performance in second grade landed her in a school for mentally and physically impaired children. It took school administrators, psychologists, and audiologists nearly a year to discover it was just a hearing loss - and not a lack of mental acuity that was impeding her speech and language development. Today, Kathy shakes her head as she quips to amazed audiences, '... and they called me slow?'
She was featured in the HBO Television Special, 'Women of the Night', shot on location at the U.S. Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado. She was included in the E! Entertainment Television Special, The World's Most Intriguing Women. Kathy was also the focus of I Can Hear the Laughter, an Emmy award-winning documentary.

Virtual Events can:
- Reach a wider audience
- Offer a great experience at a much lower cost
- Create long term impact with recorded elements that allow for content to be watched over a period of time
- Have an increased impact over time, as viewers re-watch, discuss and connect over social media and other channels
And, most importantly: offer the ability for inspiring and impactful presentations to connect in a one-on-one way, directly to the attendee.
WHO is your audience?
Who are your virtual event attendees? Are they across a specific group within your organization, or are you serving clients across a wide range of levels? Determining who you are speaking to will help you determine a format for your event that will captivate your audience.
WHAT is your key message?
Are you focusing on change? Innovation? Leadership?
Creating a single focus or mission will allow you to hone in on the type of speaker(s) you need to engage your audience and help event producers to format the event into a dynamic program that balances inspiration with information and audience interaction.
WHAT type of event suits your audience?
- Virtual Conference
- Hybrid Event
Virtual event technology has come a long way over the last few months, offering a huge range of different options from pre-recorded webinars, to multi-day virtual conferences, to hybrid events with some attendees in the audience while the event is live streamed.
A COMBINATION of live and pre-recorded elements will allow your virtual event to run smoothly and stay on time.
Many of our clients are also opting for multi-day virtual conferences with shorter segments spaced over a few days.
This allows some flexibility for attendees in different time zones and accommodates different teleworking situations for attendees, allowing them to tune in when it is convenient.
WHERE? It’s all about Tech.
Virtual meeting technology has exploded over the last few months as teleworking became the norm.
Consider your needs:
- Interactive elements like breakout rooms, polls & Q&A
- Seamless blend of live & pre-recorded elements
- Ability to replay segments
- Live tech support
If you plan for rain, it’s likely the sun will shine…
Tech isn’t perfect so don’t forget to test, rehearse and have a back up plan ready to go for your virtual event.
Pro Tip: Think of a virtual presentation like a podcast. Viewers can view the content multiple times and refer back to it.
WHEN? A Date… or Dates?
As we have all noticed, our attention spans for meeting in real life versus meeting online are a lot longer.
When deciding on a date, consider spreading your virtual event out over a few days, with a variety of speakers, interactive elements and information.
The benefits of a multi-day format:
- Viewers watch content fresh for a short period every day
- Allows attendees in different time zones to stay on top of the content
- Attendees can review & re-engage with content
Virtual Event Checklist:
Is your event?
- Able to be rewatched?
WHY? Pandemic 2020
Just because you are online instead of in person, it doesn’t mean you are missing out on connection.
Using the technology that we have become so accustomed to over the last few months, our keynote speakers have the ability to connect to your viewers one-on-one, in a way that was impossible in live events.
FIND YOUR WHY…
What do you want the audience to leave thinking at the end of the presentation?
Apply this question to all the presentations and segments in your event to create a cohesive, impactful virtual event.
HOW? Virtual Event Checklist
To wrap it all up
- TECH: Find the right tech platform & don’t forget to test drive before your event
- AGENDA: Use a mix of live and pre-recorded segments, mixed with interactive elements, to ensure a smooth flow of events & audience engagement
- ANTICIPATION: Build up your event with emails, teasers and sneak peeks into what content will be offered
- NETWORKING: Create and encourage online chat functions, an event specific hashtag or even a dedicated event page to allow attendees to network virtually. Maximize the networking opportunities offered by your tech platform.
- EXTEND YOUR IMPACT: A dedicated social media page is a great place for attendees to connect after an event to discuss ideas and implement some of the learnings from the event.
Offer a password protected, limited time recording of keynote presentations to continue the conversation long after the virtual event has ended.
Continue the conversation with post-event touch points like emails or questions based on the key presentations.

The way they’re able to sell magic is by working ridiculously hard. It takes thousands and thousands of hours to be able to sell the illusion, to be able to really sell the magic. Imagine if you applied the same mindset to your company - imagine if you applied the same dedication to your business - think about what you could achieve.” - Vinh Giang

Motivational Speaker and Author on how to cultivate positive working environments
Vicki Hitzges (“Hits’ guess”) is an expert in creating positive work environments. (Whether the work takes place at home or in a commercial building.)
Vicki knows her stuff. She first ramped up her speaking skills as a Dallas TV news anchor. In her early 20’s, she was named Bureau Chief at KTVT in Dallas, at the time, the largest, independent television station in the nation. Next, she anchored for the NBC affiliate (KRIS) in Corpus Christi, TX where she won the National Headliner Award from the Press Club of Atlantic City. She then co-hosted the Dallas Cowboy’s weekly TV show, Special Edition, before becoming a publicist. That matters to you because she tells interesting stories and edits sizzling videos that inform and entertain.
As a publicist, one of her clients included the man then considered the world’s top motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar. Impressed with her creativity, Zig urged Vicki to speak and personally mentored her.
Vicki speaks across the world to associations, companies, and universities who want a proven, strong message about teamwork, customer service, and how to keep a positive work environment.
Vicki holds a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) title. When she earned that honor in 2004, only seven percent of speakers held it worldwide--and just a few hundred women.
She’s authored two books, the first of which sold out the first day! Bam! All 5,000 copies! Gone! That book, Attitude is Everything – 10 Steps to Staying Positive, sells internationally as does her second book, Stuck on Stop – How to Quit Procrastinating.
Vicki enjoys interesting sermons and stories, clean comedy, chocolate, lively conversation, and crushing opponents in board games. (Not necessarily in that order.)

Dale Irvin is one of a kind. He is an author, actor and widely televised comedian, but speaking is where he excels.
Dale is the world's only Professional Summarizer. He attends your meeting, paying attention to every word spoken by every speaker and noticing every detail of the event. Then, throughout the day, he will

What Billy Crystal brings to the Academy Awards, you brought to our meeting.
Dale's monologues keep the audience fully engaged, wide awake, and paying more attention so that they will get the jokes they are about to hear. It also gives them another connecting point and becomes a topic of conservation during the breaks.
In addition to over 100 national TV appearances, Dale has appeared in concert with Jay Leno, Paul Anka, The Four Tops, and The Temptations. Diana Jordan is "healing the world one laugh at a time..." No longer FERTILE, Diana makes light of getting older and using humor to cope with being a breast cancer survivor.
“When my Reconstruction Surgeon asked me if I wanted to go up a cup size or two I told him, ‘let me put it this way, when I fly I want to be the flotation device!’ “
Diana studied improv comedy in “off the wall” classes with classmate Robin Williams (whom she also dated). Wayne Lee is a motivational keynote speaker and versatile entertainer. If there's one thing peak performance experts like Wayne agree on, it's that the mind is capable of leading us anywhere. He also knows that for many of us, our minds are littered with detours, potholes and accidents waiting to happen. Fear, self-doubt, inhibitions of all kinds, these beliefs reside in our subconscious and prevent us from reaching our conscious goals. But if you set your GPS (Great Programmable Subconscious) for success, you can achieve anything while taking the ride of your life.
Wayne's own journey to excellence was fuelled with an unrelenting passion for entertaining and empowering people. From a childhood fascination with magic and visualization, Wayne's gift for seeing and acting on what's possible has grown to international proportions: He is one of North America's premier corporate presenters, a veteran of thousands of successful shows, a published author, and peak performance coach to professionals of all walks of life. And he's practiced what he preaches. Wayne is a former five-time Canadian amateur wrestling champion, who also served as a beloved classroom instructor before taking the stage in the corporate world. More recently, he was named
Entertainer of the Year for the Canadian Events Industry.
Which brings us back to the power of the mind. Wayne Lee is an unrelenting advocate for individuals and teams looking to turn potential into performance. Through humor and hypnosis, he helps people drop their defenses and access their GPS. Once in there, Wayne shows how what you put in - beliefs, attitudes, goals and vision - acts as coordinates that absolutely determine whether or not you reach your destination. Get it wrong and you're stuck in traffic. Get it right and you'll get to your goal faster and more directly than you ever thought possible.
Many people find it difficult to make the connection between the inner goings-on of the
mind and outward action and performance, yet it's crucial to any success.
That's why Wayne Lee's work is so special. He can break down the barriers of even the
most cynical and resistant individuals through laughter and hypnosis, in the process
showing them how to access their own subconscious. Once people realize what's
possible when they program their GPS for success, it's as if they become a new
person - the person they were always meant to be. For employers, that means
productivity, teamwork, and a great attitude at work. For employees themselves,
it's like being handed the keys to the ride of their lives.

Corporate Comedian, Emcee and Speaker on Communication & Change
It’s pretty simple what Mark Mayfield does: he talks about very serious stuff in a very funny way. He is one of the rare individuals in the world who is equally adept at performing comedy shows or high content speeches. Compelling content with genuine humor, he will motivate your audience as a keynote speaker or emcee.
Mark is author of several business books and two joke books including his latest Morph, a guide to accepting and managing change, and has spoke to a “Who’s Who” list of corporations, conventions, and trade associations over the past four decades.
Mark has one of the most diversified backgrounds in the speaking industry having owned and operated several businesses ranging from livestock production to nightclubs to golf instruction - and also spent ten years as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. and in thirteen state legislatures for a Fortune 500 company. That business experience combined with his work as a nightclub performer allowed him to create truly unique presentations. His tagline is simple: Solid business wisdom in a brilliant comedic style.
He has received rave reviews sharing the stage with a wide variety of celebrities like Bob Newhart, Rachel Platten, Andy Grammer, and Colin Powell, and has introduced a President of the United States on a live, nationwide television broadcast.
He was raised on a farm, received two degrees magna cum laude from Kansas State University, and taught school before he began his lobbying, business, and speaking career.
From comedy shows to seminars, Mark’s philosophy is simple...say it with humor and people will take the message home. A national convention planner recently called Mark “one of the very few, really funny, inspiring men in America today”.
Mark’s Mom also said that once after a small bribe.
He is happily married (although his wife is not) and is the proud father of two daughters. He is also the most annoying Grandpa on the planet.
