Johnny declared for the NFL Draft in 2007 and was ranked in the Top 10 at the wide receiver position in career receptions, career yards and career touchdowns at the collegiate level. Thirty-five wide receivers went on to be selected in the 2007 NFL Draft, and Johnny was not one of them. Shortly after the draft concluded, he signed his first free-agent contract with the Buffalo Bills. In 2008 he signed his second free-agent contract with the Green Bay Packers. After bouncing around the NFL for two years, Johnny went on to play in the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2009 as a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He played the Montreal Alouettes in the 97th Grey Cup and lost 28-27 on a 33-yard field goal as time ran out.

Digital Marketing Strategies to Build your Brand
During the Sochi Olympics, I got stuck in my Olympic Village bathroom and had to break down the door. The picture of the busted bathroom door went viral and has been retweeted over 27|000 times and seen by an estimated 10 million people around the world! I have been featured on ABC, CNN, CBS, Good Morning America, NBC Olympics, Fox Sports, TIME, USA Today and many other media and news outlets around the world. I earned a spot to compete on the popular TV show, American Ninja Warrior, picked up an endorsement deal from McDonald’s and even trained with a S.W.A.T. team. They showed me how to break down a door the right way with a battering ram!
This interactive presentation will guide the audience through the “ins and outs” of social media responsibility and how to use their digital platform to their advantage. We will look at, and dissect, industry leaders and “the flops” when it comes to posting online content. It is important to understand that what people and brands post online today can, and will, affect their relationship with clients and customers. Their online content can also affect opportunities down the road with future employers.
Dream Big, Again!
I grew up playing Texas High School Football and my dream was to one day play in the NFL. That dream came true at 22 years old, but by age 26, I had been cut three times, lost $2.6 million dollars in NFL contracts and blew out my knee (torn ACL and meniscus). With my first dream clearly dead…I had to embrace change, stare fear in the face and learn how to dream BIG again! I began a new career as a bobsledder for Team USA. In professional sports, they call age 30 old, but it was at this point I became a United States Olympian! I competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and traveled the world with Team USA competing in Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia and Switzerland. Only three people have played in the NFL and competed in the Winter Olympics.
This powerful message engages the audience to:
- think outside of the box to accomplish their dreams
- anticipate unexpected opportunities
- understand that failure is not fatal, rather a springboard to success
STEM in Sports – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
Today, Olympic timed events come down to 1/10|000th of a second, thanks to high tech timing devices, while high speed digital cameras catch more accurate photo finishes. I discuss the critical role of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) play in the modern Olympics. We have sleeker, faster bobsleds that were developed by BMW engineers. Special suits and helmets are designed to provide safety, optimal body cooling/heating, and aerodynamic qualities.
This educational message will encourage the audience to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by demonstrating how those careers are critical to all kinds of interesting applications, including the Olympics.
Johnny has spoken several times to our agents & employees - his message is always spot on. His presentation is energetic, motivating & serious, all pertaining to life lessons. We all have setbacks & need to realize that through hard work & goal setting you can overcome life’s challenges. He is a perfect role model for today's culture!
